"It was about three years ago and I had a lot of questions about whether or not this was the path God wanted me to follow," he told Inside United.
"I wasn't playing much football, I was being kept in the reserves. I was disappointed younger players were coming through and getting ahead of me, and it really got me down, even away from football.
"I talked a lot with my parents, my grandparents, my sister and my girlfriend about my situation, and they helped me realise that this is what I was meant to do.
"I know now that I'm a very lucky guy and I'm glad I made the decision to keep playing. That experience taught me a lot."

Chicharito couldn't have left Utd three years ago as he didn't sign until 2010.
The article was regarding his thoughts on almost quitting football, not leaving Utd.

i don´t know his thoughts but i reckon he will be in man u for a long time. he should realize that this chance not happen everyday, he plays in one of the best clubs of the history, he must take this opportunity. in mexico everybody is very proud of him!

Didnt Fergie just signed him only after last season? hehe.. anyway, he's so valuable to this club.. let's hope he'll not leaving United until at least he's like 35 years old or something. Since Berba is going to leave, i dont think Chica's is going anywhere :)

berbatov, chicharito, rooney...we must relax about rumours of transfer. every year man uni´s forwards are in the summer´s news about transfers. but i think we have three of the best players of the world. chicharo is improving each year. in the beginning i though he didn´t value, despite scoring goals
