Doubts raised over United's hopes of signing Mesut Ozil
We have renewed the Rumours and Transfers and from now on it will be known as The Reporter.
New changes:
You have the section divided into rumours and pieces of news. You can add photos to the news and rumours. If look carefully, each news that contains an image will have a small icon next to it referring to the image.
Classification of news and rumours:
The classification of news and rumours will be based on two criteria: number of votes and ancestry. The latest and the most voted news and rumours will be displayed on the top. If for example you observe that at the end of one week a news or rumour a lot of votes goes below another article with less votes it will be because it is not so new. In any case you can choose between looking at it in this order, only the latest, the most commented on or only news or rumours.
How do I upload a news?
Inside the section, on the left you will find the "Upload news" botton.
How do I upload a rumour?
Inside this section, on the left you will find the "Upload rumour" botton.
How do I vote for a news or a rumour?
You only have to click on the arrows beside it. The green one means you like it amd the red one (by now it is only available for the users with highest rank) means you don't like it.
Doubts raised over United's hopes of signing Mesut Ozil
PIECE OF NEWS• German international's indecision cools hopes of a deal
• Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona also in the hunt
Manchester United's hopes of making the Germany international Mesut Ozil their fourth summer signing appear to have receded. Asked about the chances of the 21-year-old moving to Old Trafford, one boardroom figure said he would be "surprised".
Ozil, one of the outstanding players of the World Cup, is available for a cut-price fee of £13.5m from Werder Bremen where he is in the final year of his contract. Real Madrid have already made an offer of around £12m and there is also interest from Chelsea and Barcelona.
Sir Alex Ferguson was at Craven Cottage on Saturday to meet Bremen officials after the team's friendly against Fulham, and the United manager is still hoping for a deal. However, there are complications, with the player undecided about what is best for him and the same applying to Bremen. But United intend to retain their interest.
