BackManchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson says his team has "nothing to fear" in the face Barcelona in the final of the Champions League on 28 May.
"I do not think we should go to low confidence that appointment. (Barcelona) has been very good and play against a great team, but we should not be afraid. We can not scare us. We have to find a solution to play against them," Ferguson said in his press conference tonight.
"We will play against a great team, but we need not fear them. We have to find a solution to play them"
The Scot, who waits in a Wembley final "quality and tradition" when his team is measured at Barcelona, said he has seen Barça play numerous times this season, but things still consult with Jose Mourinho, coach of Real Madrid.
"I talk to him enough. I've seen several times this season, but take note of the information because Jose is very helpful in that regard," said the Portuguese coach whose team was eliminated from the competition just for Barcelona.
Asked if Barcelona is the template I wanted to meet in the final, Ferguson hesitated to ensure that more would have liked to be at Wembley with Brechin City, a team from the ranks of football in Scotland, UK area Ferguson where applicable.
"Early in the season if the final looked clearly thought that Barcelona would come because your game is there, everyone sees it"
"Early in the season if the final looked clearly thought that Barcelona would come because your game is there, everybody sees it," admitted the nearly septuagenarian coach.
However, he believes that Manchester has done his job and his performance was "amazing" campaign, in which the 'Red Devils' are also leaders and favorites to clinch the Premier League title.
"Wembley is a neutral ground, but I think (we) will be well prepared," he said referring to his numerous appearances at that stage, most recently last month in the semifinals of the FA Cup that lost to Manchester United City.
