Ferguson don't regret tevez exit (#337) on 16-04-2010 at 13:58:55

A lot has been said about Tevez' exit. Everyone is now saying crap about him, and he's grumbling about his past in Manchester United. Now Fergie says he has "no regrets" after offloading Carlos Tevez. My only question is: Is everything sincere or it is all about resentment from both sides?

I think the best you can do with all those players that let you down (in this sense Tevez has not been a gentleman, but who really was expecting that from him?) is to avoid talking about them, they're the past, let's look at the future.

Ferguson is a very proud man so I doubt he would admit it if he did regret letting Tevez go. I personally don't think he should regret anything. Tevez did do enough while he was with us to warrant paying out such a large amount of money for him. His performances this season for city mean that he is probably worth 25 million in the current transfer market, but he definitely wasn't worth that last year. We managed save 25mill and get Owen for free. Unfortunately, he got injured but he would have done just as good a job off the bench as Tevez for none of the cost!
