Giggs misses United training

Father-of-two Giggs, 37, was named yesterday as the married footballer involved in a controversial privacy case.

Giggs, who is not thought to be injured, arrived at the Carrington training ground at around 9am this morning.

But he was not at an open training session ahead of United's Champions League final against Barcelona at Wembley on Saturday.

Defender Rafael, who came off with a knock in Sunday's victory over Blackpool in the final Premier League match of the season, did not take part in the first 10 minutes of training.

Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Sar and Dimitar Berbatov were also missing.
