BackManchester United supporters' anger at chief executive David Gill for siding with the Glazer family has now spilled over in to abuse being aimed at his son Oliver.
Gill's 19-year-old son - a central midfielder - has recently made the breakthrough in to Sir Alex Ferguson's first team squad, travelling once on Champions League duty and also winning a place on the substitutes' bench for the Barclays Premier League game at home to Fulham on Sunday.
But concerns are growing at Old Trafford after Gill jnr was booed when his name was read out on Sunday. The youngster has also been jeered and barracked at recent reserve matches and one interview he conducted for the club's in-house TV station was all but ruined by anti-Glazer songs in the background.
United fans are angry at Gill for constantly defending the Glazer family despite being in the vanguard of the opposition to the Americans when they bought the club five years ago.
