BackWe´ve agreed a 6millon deal with mexican side chivas to sing javier hernandez.
The Mexican hitman has smashed four goals in four games for his country and is expected to move to Old Trafford in the summer.
Hernandez is in line to play at this summer's World Cup finals after finding the net 10 times in 11 appearances in the Primera Division so far this season.
The 21-year-old, nicknamed 'Chicharito' — 'the little pea' — joins Fulham defender Chris Smalling as a new United recruit and is the first Mexican player to sign for the club.
As part of the deal, the Red Devils will play a match to open the new 45,000 capacity Chivas Stadium in Guadalajara as part of its 2010/11 season preparations.
Unite boss Alex Ferguson said: "I am delighted to reach agreement with Chivas to bring such an exciting young striker, who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country.
"He will be a great addition to our squad and we look forward to welcoming our first Mexican player in the summer.
"We are equally excited to play our first game in Mexico, opening the magnificent new Chivas Stadium in July."
Hernandez passed a medical in Manchester this week and could provide an early glimpse of his talent in England given Mexico are due to visit Wembley for a friendly on May 24.

ryanwilson I'm not holding my breath for this one, this signing has got something of the Manucho about it. I really hope I'm wrong, but I can't see this being more than an attempt to sell some more shirts in Mexico.
