Following the striker's admission that he wants to test himself in English football, we've rounded up the odds on where the Cameroonian may ply his trade next season

Samuel Eto'o has put English clubs on red alert after he indicated he wants to test himself in the Premier League.

Having won everything in Spain and Italy the striker told Il Corriere dello Sport: "I am currently considering my options. I have one month to decide as to whether I want to stay put or choose to move to the Premier League."

The Cameroon international has long been the scourge of English sides in Europe having tormented Chelsea and Manchester United in the past. Eto'o has a contract with present club Inter until 2014 but his comments to the press are sure to spark a bidding frenzy among Premier League clubs keen to acquire his services.

Online bookmaker Unibet has calculated the odds on the likelihood of where Eto'o will be plying his trade after the transfer window closes. Remaining with the Nerazzurri is currently trading @ 1.35.

Manchester City @ 5.0
Hardly any player enters the transfer market without the Citizens being linked with his capture. Eto'o is no different and despite having a glut of attacking talent you can be certain Roberto Mancini would splash out on the hitman especially if moody talisman Carlos Tevez leaves.

Chelsea @ 7.50
Blues fans will recall how Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Deco were part of a Barcelona side who enjoyed many battles with Chelsea. In 2009/10 it was the striker's killer goal at Stamford Bridge which ended the London club's Champions League dreams for another season. But with Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres, would three into two work?

Manchester United @ 10.0
A quick look at the Red Devils' bench for the Champions League final just screamed that the club need another top class striker. Michael Owen is well past his best and Dimitar Berbatov has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford. Sir Alex Ferguson is a known admirer of Eto'o and was punished by him in Rome two years ago. A cracking bet @ 10.0

Liverpool @ 20.0
Kenny Dalglish is rebuilding the Reds by landing some star names in Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. There is little doubt that Eto'o would add to the Liverpool squad but would the striker really opt for a club that isn't even playing in Europe next season? Unlikely @ 20.0

Arsenal @ 30.0
The Gunners are a frankly staggering 30.0 to snap up Eto'o, which is a price fully worth investigating. Granted, the club are getting Gervinho but talented as the Ivory Coast forward is he is not a known quantity like Eto'o.

Arsene Wenger is famous for landing bargains from Africa and while Eto'o wouldn't come cheap and is perhaps too old for the Professor he would represent the marquee signing the club are screaming out for.

Just compare how many trophies Eto'o has won since 2005 with Arsenal's haul in the same period. Perhaps Wenger will surprise us all with an audacious move for his fellow French speaker.

Tottenham @ 40.0
Back in his days at Mallorca one of the regular visitors to the island was Harry Redknapp, who wanted to snap up Eto'o for West Ham. The deal never happened but Redknapp singled out the striker for praise when Spurs were drawn against Inter in last season's Champions League. No elite European action for Tottenham makes the club a less attractive bet than their fellow north London rivals.

Unibet also have Real Madrid trading @ 15.0 but that is more to do with the close relationship between Eto'o and his old boss Jose Mourinho than the prospect of a move really happening. Don't forget that Eto'o was discarded by Los Blancos in his youth and never hid his disdain for the capital club during his years at Barcelona.
