BackBlackburn have been boosted by the return from injury of a trio of players.
Defender Phil Jones, who was a late omission from the team that drew against West Ham last week with a back problem, has recovered while Michel Salgado (knee) and David Dunnare also fit after missing the trip to Upton Park.
Ryan Nelsen and Vince Grella are definite absentees and Ruben Rochina is a doubt after dislocating his shoulder in the reserves' win against United on Wednesday, a game in which the young Spaniard scored both Rovers' goals.
Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to rest goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar for Manchester United's Barclays Premier League trip to Blackburn.
United will seal a record 19th league title if they avoid defeat at Ewood Park but, after totting up 42 appearances already this term, Ferguson feels it is time the 40-year-old had a break.
"I may rest Edwin on Saturday," confirmed the United boss. "Given the programme of the last few weeks and the fact he has played in every game, it is important to take the opportunity to give him a break."
United are expected to be otherwise at full strength, with Darren Fletcher likely to feature as he seeks match fitness following a virus.
