Owen's amazing hat-trick (#71) on 10-12-2009 at 11:17:24
I've read somewhere that Owen's hat-trick "delights Sir Alex Ferguson", and my question has been: can anyone not be delighted by the quality of this HUUUUUUUUGE playmaker?
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson hailed Michael Owen after the striker's hat-trick in their 3-1 Champions League win at Wolfsburg.
Now the big news is that Capello could be thinking of choosing him for England squad and once again my question is: who in the world woundn't want someone like him, someone able to make such an incredible performance in a moment of truth like this Champions League match was.
I'm just telling you, Mr. Capello... do you want to win this year's mundial? Choose Owen, you'll never regret it.
We love you. Michael, thanks for THAT!

"Michael has been such an important player for us and I know I have not used him as much as I should have. That is a lot to do with Rooney?s form and our choice of playing one striker. He has been a little bit unfortunate with that. But we recognise he has made a great contribution. He is a good professional who has been terrific in the dressing room. It is the first time he has had a hamstring injury in four years as well, so it is a disappointment for the lad and a bad blow for us.?

Owen deserves the better thing, is a player's piece
