BackUnited to assess Mexican ace's injury on Monday
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson feels Javier Hernandez could be out of action for a couple of weeks after being on the end of Ashley Cole's 'shocking' tackle.
The Red Devils manager was far from happy from the England international defender's challenge on the Mexican marksman, which only resulted in a yellow card and not a penalty.
Hernandez was attempted to tuck the ball home after Wayne Rooney's shot struck the post, however, Cole closed him down quickly resulting in an over-zealous tackle.
The free-scoring striker has only recently returned to action after suffering a concussion in pre-season and Ferguson now fears he may require a couple of weeks recovering on the sidelines.
"We will have to see what the damage is in the morning," stated Ferguson. "His leg is very numb.
"He could be out for a couple of weeks."
